David K. Simerly is an author who lives in Maryland with his wife and their mind-reading dog. After many years as a technical writer and software developer for the likes of Apple, Electronic Arts, FileMaker, Google, Lucasfilm, and PubMatic, in 2015 David returned to his roots as a science fiction writer.

David is an avid follower of science, politics, humor, and science fiction. He is currently hard at work on his first novel.
